 Such an ambitious name almost sets expectations for this Kensal Green gastropub extraordinaire too high, but a single visit is enough to tell you that this is a superbly-managed pub that’s able to offer all things to all people. (It's even good enough to tempt the cast of Made in Chelsea out of their natural habitat!). Found just half a street north of the canal and set in a huge building filled with quirky decor pieces, it’s difficult to say what is best about the Paradise. On Sunday, it offers some of the best Roast lunches in town, with British cooking at its best and a dining room so comfortable that you’re hard-pushed to leave. On Saturday, a fantastic brunch menu will have you starting your day early (they even have a Bloody Mary club, such is their passion for the perfect weekend beverage) and, if you have the energy, you can push on all the way until 2:00am as DJs turn the place into a house of funk. Friday nights have live music, there’s a private karaoke room for hire at the weekend and there’s even a comedy night on Wednesdays! Really inspiring to see a pub done so well and with the highest quality in terms of food, drink and service never faltering throughout. A true West London gem.
