Owned by three Scandinavians, Skandium is the city’s go-to source for modernist furniture, fabrics, lighting and homewares, and is named after a rare earth metal discovered near Stockholm. The Independent has called Skandium “London’s most discretely fashionable design shop.” If simplicity and clean lines appeal, then certainly visit this amazing shop where the products are clever and very well-made. Many smaller items are reasonably priced, and be assured that even if the price tag of some larger items looks a touch high, the quality of design is well worth the cost.
