One of London’s Pan-Asian favourites and, along with its sisters E&O) and the Great Eastern Dining Rooms, the site of many an eager romantics’ ‘impress-the-girl’ first dates, Eight over Eight delivers on every level. Excellent culinary inventiveness and execution? Check. Great cocktail bar that’ll make you appear oh-so-chic? Check. SW’s oh-so-beloved Miso Black Cod? Checkitty-check. Whether opting for a selection of dim sum, BBQ’d meats or a platter of sushi, you really can’t go wrong. Prices aren’t the cheapest you’ll find here on SW but, when coupling a dish with one of the bar’s delicious cocktails, you’ll know that ‘More cool for your money’ is the motto here.
