Cavernous interior space compliments the micro-tapas dishes served up by this Great Portland Street centre in honour of all things español. Two storeys and floor-to-ceiling windows actually add to the warmth of the place rather than detract, and it really is one of the best destinations around for Spanish cooking. Much praise is heaped on their Sunday paellas and SW can vouch for the tastiness of their tapas dishes offering the best of both land and sea, even if we didn’t quite get time to call ahead and order the whole suckling roast pig for 6 to share! A fantastic wine list full of hearty, Spanish reds is a great compliment and a section of sherry specialities means it’s easy to try something new paired with dessert. Visit the attached El Colmado delicatessen to take home some of the wonderful jamon, cheese, sherry or other spanish treats for later!
