SW REVIEW
A country-pub décor and spacious interior welcome those lucky enough to stumble across this fantastic brasserie that can be found at the sleepier, Parson’s Green end of Fulham Road. Perfect for groups for whom excellent cooking is high on the agenda, Manson’s kitchen team focus on bringing only the best British ingredients straight from “the field to your fork”. The well-rounded menu is packed with tempting choices (the Barbeque Short Rib we had literally melted in the mouth!) and we have been craving the ridiculously-moreish bread (baked in-house twice daily) ever since. The wine list is extensive and has some great en vogue bottles like Albariño and Gavi de Gavi at excellent prices. Despite the pub-like interior, beer is not a high priority, yet the friendly team more than compensate by providing a simple list of 12 well-made cocktails that slip down rather too easily. A lovely ‘change-from-a-twenty-for-three-courses’ deal on a weekday lunch is an added bonus. Heartily recommended for a relaxed evening of fun and feeding (and if you could send some of their bread SW’s way…that’d be great!)
