With its exceptional food and particularly well-polished waiting team, this Charlotte Street Michelin-starred restaurant is certainly a foodie-favourite. Chef Shane Osborne departed this year for a well-earned sabbatical after 11 years taking the restaurant from strength-to-strength and protege Marcus Eaves (Michelin star winner with sister restaurant L'Autre Pied) has taken over. All the lovable traits remain - the tasting menu with added wine flight option really show off the kitchen’s skills and they even have one designed with vegetarians in mind too. Staff are particularly helpful and only too happy to recommend, create or modify a menu for you, or reel off everything they know about the wine they’ve served you or the cheese you’re eating. If you do find that front room a little too stuffy, grab some hungry (and well-off) friends and opt for the private dining room that can seat up to 13 soon-to-be-well-fed (and less well-off) diners, complete with private bar and service.
