With a fantastic atmosphere in its open plan pub area and a roomy dining area to the rear, this Bayswater gem leaves a lot of pretenders to the ‘gastropub’ label trailing in its wake. With a great range of beers on tap, a wine list full of great value and fantastically drinkable bottles and dishes from its daily-changing menu served up consistently excellent, its easy to lose track of the day and stumble home after many an hour of sumptuous excess. But then again, isn’t that what weekends are for? Book a table for some pals in advance or be prepared to keep a hawk’s eye out for fleeting seating opportunities during busy Saturdays and Sundays.
