SW REVIEW
A real opinion-splitter, this one, but when Tom Aikens ‘ restaurant empire almost met with a sticky end a few years back, it was not without good reason that it was this Chelsea bustling brasserie, rather than his eponymous Michelin-starred fine dining room, that would have been most sorely missed by his fans. Serving up good old-fashioned comfort food as a testament to British culinary simplicity, dinner options later in the day can seem a touch over-priced. However, head over for your first meal of the day and you’ll find one of the liveliest breakfast and brunch spots around. Skip the highly-priced cocktails and make your own by ordering good value bubbly and a pitcher of orange juice and mimosa your way back to party-town. The hearty and tasty food will have you set for the day.
